Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85 acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman inspired spa-Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there's a kids' club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are looking for a Commis Waiter to join our dynamic Events team.

The on target earning potential for our Commis Waiter role is £29,620.86 per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £25,460.86 and an estimated £4,000 in gratuities and service charge. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

Our Commis Waiters at Estelle Manor will be required to set up and break down event spaces and tables, ensure mise en place is ready for and throughout service. You will also assist in both serving and removing dishes and items from tables, generally pre empting the waiters' needs to ensure a high standard of service can be provided for our members and guests.

• Confident in helping with set up and breakdown of event spaces including lifting and moving of tables, chairs and event equipment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.

About gratuities & service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge are paid on a pro rata basis regardless of your role.
• It is estimated that in 2026, our full time employees can expect to receive in the range of £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.
