We are looking for a chef at commis or CDP level to join us at Frank's Cafe in Peckham and the Camberwell Arms. Hybrid roles are available.
Frank's CafeFrank's Cafe is looking for positive, energetic chefs to join our team for what is arguably the best summer kitchen job. We provide a fun and supportive working environment with the rare pleasure of working outdoors during summer.
We work with the best summer ingredients to make simple, delicious food enjoyed overlooking one of the best views of London. The menu showcases favourite ingredients from producers and growers across Europe and the UK, focused around charcoal and wood burning grills and oven.
You will receive full training and work with the support of our Exec Chef and an experienced management team. Experience in high volume hospitality and working with fresh, seasonal ingredients is preferred, but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver quality and consistency on a section during service.
- Understand and manage prep and cuisine processes before plating.
- Assist in menu development and learn techniques.
- Maintain clean, organised kitchen and uphold safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Year or more experience in a professional kitchen (commis or CDP level).
- Good organisational skills, solid technical skills and confidence in busy services.
- Positive attitude, team player, love of service.

- Minimum one year of experience as a chef (commis or CDP).
- Organisational skills, solid technical skills, and confidence in busy services.
- Positive attitude, genuine interest in food, team player.
