We are looking for a Commercial Team Administrator on a specified purpose contract who can play a vital role in supporting our construction projects by ensuring that all contractual obligations are met efficiently and effectively.
In this key role, you will work closely with our project management and legal teams, handling the preparation, modification, and management of contracts while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:- Prepare, review, and manage contracts related to construction projects while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and legal teams to gather relevant information for contract drafting
- Monitor and track contract performance, highlighting any contractual issues and supporting resolution efforts
- Maintain organized and accurate contract documentation, including amendments, renewals, and correspondence
- Liaise with stakeholders to clarify contract terms and foster positive relationships
- Ensure timely execution of agreements and manage the approval process
- Assist in analyzing contract terms and conditions, identifying areas for negotiation and optimization
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on contract management best practices
- A degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- Experience in contract administration or management, ideally within the construction industry
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to interpret legal language and contractual obligations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Knowledge of contract management software or ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
