Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive

They are currently seeking a highly motivated Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their team in Devon. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage your own caseload under supervision, as appropriate.
- Support the team in individual transactions and as part of wider project teams.
- Handle tasks including opening case files, giving cost estimates to new clients, and recording time in accordance with the firm's policy.
- Conduct title reviews, draft and negotiate leases and transfers.
- Obtain and report on title information from the Land Registry and deal with Land Registry requisitions.
- Assist in managing both commercial property matters and residential conveyancing transactions.
- Obtain and report on property searches, attend meetings, make notes, and prepare SDLT forms.
- Promote the firm's vision and values when interacting with clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge through relevant publications and training.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Partners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification (qualified as a solicitor or a legal executive) or directly related work experience.
- Experience in organising workloads to achieve priorities and objectives.
- Good knowledge of property processes and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills and a solution-focused approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop successful working relationships.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and good IT skills.
- Willingness to work flexibly and independently.
- Commitment to promoting the ethos and values of PHP Law, including high standards in relation to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
