Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor (2+ PQE)Salary Range: £40,000 to £65,000 per annumLocation: SheffieldOverview:Our client is a renowned legal organisation operating throughout the UK and is widely acknowledged as a leading practice, including long-standing recognition in The Legal 500. The firm is home to highly regarded legal professionals across a range of disciplines and continues to experience steady growth.An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their expanding property team based in Sheffield city centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, reputable and forward-thinking firm offering high-quality work, strong internal support and genuine progression prospects.The role:

  • The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters, acting for a broad client base including SMEs, investors, developers and lenders. The caseload will include acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, commercial leases (acting for both landlords and tenants), lease renewals, property finance transactions, development work and asset management matters.
  • You will handle transactions from initial instruction through to completion, including drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers, licences and related documentation. The role will involve carrying out due diligence, reporting on title, advising on risk and managing matters in a commercially focused and pragmatic manner.
  • You will build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and strategic advice tailored to each client's business objectives. The role will also provide opportunities to work closely with colleagues across corporate and litigation teams on cross-departmental matters.
  • In addition, you will support business development initiatives, including networking and marketing activities, and contribute to the continued growth of the department. Keeping up to date with developments in commercial property law and attending relevant training will form an important part of the role.
