We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Transmission & Renewables team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving commercial performance on a major substation project in South Wales. You'll:
Drive commercial success by shaping and executing project strategy in partnership with Project Director
Champion HSEQ leadership while inspiring and developing high-performing commercial teams through training and mentorship
In conjunction with the pre-Contract team, prepare and present detailed tender handover to the project delivery team
Deliver robust CVR and all progress governance reporting to the senior management team, ensuring full compliance with commercial reporting rules
Collaborate with finance and project team to ensure delivery of a fully detailed and validated end life forecast and cashflow
Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships
Oversee procurement activities to ensure supply chain engagement in accordance with delivery programme requirements
Ensure contractual compliance across the project team to protect and secure all entitlement, provide coaching and training as required
Lead in KPI data collation, review and action accordingly

What you'll bring
Leadership skills with a clear focus on developing the team
Commercially astute with substantial proven experience in a similar role
Degree qualified
Expert knowledge of NEC4
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience and skills in undertaking reviews of contract terms and negotiating with supply chain
Understanding of programme techniques and project controls
Proven experience in people management
Full clean UK driving license - willingness to travel to regional offices
