An amazing new opportunity has just become available to join a leading Insurance Company as a Commercial Manager as they embark on a massive integration programme

For this role you must have.

• A proven track record and extensive experience of supplier relationships and solution outsourcing
• Commercial Management experience within Financial Services
• Ability to work independently and within an ambiguous environment
• Significant contract, category and risk management experience
• Strong influencing skills
• Strong commercial acumen

Key Accountabilities

• Strategy - Direct responsibility for development and delivery of sourcing and contracting strategies across a portfolio of categories, sub-categories and suppliers which deliver best in market and innovative solutions for the business
• Sourcing - accountable for the delivery of all sourcing activity, including RFX, RFP, supplier negotiations and contracting
• Category Management and Compliance - To adapt and implement Category Management as an effective and efficient process, ensuring compliance with all policies, minimum standards and governance
• Contracting - To ensure that contractual arrangements are aligned with supplier and relationship strategies to deliver maximum commercial benefit to the organisation
