Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Full Package
We are working with a leading infrastructure contractor seeking a high-performing Commercial Manager to take ownership of a long-term Mains Rehabilitation framework in the South East.
Currently delivering £50m+ of works annually, and projected to grow further, this framework is a cornerstone of their thriving utilities division. You'll be given the autonomy to lead the commercial function, influence key decisions, and play a pivotal role in driving financial success.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Commercial Manager, or an ambitious Senior / Managing QS ready to step up, to join a business offering stability, growth, and career progression.
The Role- As Commercial Manager, you will lead all commercial activity on the framework, ensuring robust financial control and maximising profitability. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of framework financial performance, including accurate CVRs and reporting
- Leading supply chain procurement and management, from subcontract awards through to performance monitoring
- Acting as NEC contract expert, ensuring compliance and effective risk management
- Driving improvements in commercial systems, processes, and efficiency
- Working hand-in-hand with operations teams to align delivery with commercial objectives
We are looking for a commercially strong and proactive individual with:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior/Managing QS seeking progression
- Background in infrastructure, utilities, or civils projects (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts
- Strong track record in CVRs, subcontract management, and contract administration
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
