Commercial Manager - Buildings North

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking Commercial Managers to join our Buildings group in the North. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in our business as we continue to expand across the UK&I. This role can be based at any of our offices in the North, including Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester, and Leeds.

As a Commercial Manager, you will ensure our business remains healthy, profitable, and sustainable by effectively managing and balancing risk and growth. Your responsibilities include overseeing project commercial elements, assisting with bids, developing commercial control processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

You will collaborate with our Leadership Team to develop and implement strong regional commercial strategies that support sustainable growth. Building and maintaining relationships with Client and Partner Commercial Leads will be key to reviewing performance and resolving project-level issues.

About you

• Ideally qualified with a relevant degree.
• Experienced Commercial Manager with a solid understanding of working with professional services teams in a non-hierarchical environment.
• Experience in the Buildings or Construction sector is essential; consultancy experience is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen, business analysis skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Ability to work with various seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners.
• Self-managed, proactive, reliable, and flexible to provide excellent service to clients.
