Job Description

VANRATH are assisting a leading FMCG organisation in the recruitment of a Commercial Growth Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial or analytical professional to join a well-established business with a strong portfolio of brands and clear long-term career progression.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Belfast.

Salary
£37,000 - £40,000 (DOE) + Bonus ( £2,000) + excellent benefits package.
Hybrid working - 3 days in office, 2 from home.

The Role

As Commercial Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable and profitable growth across a portfolio of brands. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams, you will shape pricing strategies, manage promotional activity, and ensure strong commercial execution across systems and processes.

You will also take ownership of key commercial platforms (including CBP), ensuring pricing, promotions and product data are accurately maintained while providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of commercial growth strategies through pricing, promotions and trade investment
  • Manage and approve pricing activity, including new SKU setup and pricing changes within commercial systems (e.g. CBP/Maestro)
  • Load and maintain promotional pricing, ensuring accuracy across sales orders and systems
  • Analyse promotional performance and provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Act as a key point of contact for system and pricing queries, resolving issues across CBP and related tools
  • Monitor key commercial KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities across brands and channels
  • Maintain product hierarchies, cost of goods (COGS), and core commercial data sets
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning cycles
  • Produce regular reporting on performance, including monthly brand and customer insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximise return on investment across promotional activity
The Ideal Person
  • Experience in a commercial, analytical or revenue growth role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Experience working with pricing, promotions, or commercial systems (CBP, ERP, or similar)
  • Ability to manage and interpret large datasets to drive decision-making
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
