Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)
No Call Out!

About the Role

Due to continued contract growth, our client are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join the expanding team. This is a local role with no call-out requirement, offering stability, excellent benefits and long-term progression opportunities.

The successful candidate will undertake repair, maintenance and installation of gas, plumbing and heating systems within commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs, servicing and maintenance of commercial boilers and gas appliances
• Install new heating systems in line with manufacturer instructions, best practice and current legislation
• Undertake plumbing and heating duties associated with commercial properties
• Service, repair and install appliances in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Issue gas safety notices and certificates in compliance with relevant regulations
• Update gas safety records and documentation (electronic and manual)
• Maintain accurate records of completed works, including measures and calculations
• Obtain material quotes from authorised suppliers via approved ordering systems
• Liaise with managers and work coordinators to receive instructions and resolve issues

Requirements

• ACS Qualifications (Essential)
• Valid CSCS Card (Essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Minimum 1 year plumbing experience (Required)
• Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and compliance
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
