Job Description

Our client is looking for a Commercial Dispute Resolution Legal Executive/Solicitor 0 - 4 Years PQE to be based from either their Taunton or Exeter office with hybrid working available.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a talented Regulatory Enforcement & Compliance Solicitor to join a growing team. If you have experience in regulatory or criminal enforcement work and a genuine interest in building client relationships and business opportunities, we want to hear from you.

You'll work on a wide range of contentious regulatory matters, supporting clients in a wide range of sectors involved in business and reputation-critical situations. Your work will include:

  • Advising clients on regulatory investigations, including those involving the HSE, EA, Food Standards Agency and Trading Standards
  • Supporting clients following an incident or accident and with interviews under caution an internal investigation
  • Providing compliance and risk management advice
  • Working on contentious matters alongside our Commercial Disputes team, offering well-rounded litigation support
  • Developing a profile within the market by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A Qualified Solicitor (0 - 4 years PQE) with experience in regulatory or criminal enforcement
  • A strong understanding of investigation, enforcement processes, and criminal procedure
  • Exposure to or interest in commercial disputes/litigation
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and client care skills
  • A genuine interest in business development and growing long-term client relationships
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to build a career in regulatory law
