Overview

A Commercial Contracts Solicitor (NQ) is sought by an international law firm for its Birmingham office. This full time role offers a competitive salary and focuses on advising UK and global clients on a wide variety of commercial contract matters. It provides a foundation for a newly qualified solicitor to build a career in commercial law within a respected practice.

Role

You will advise clients on a wide variety of commercial contract matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Advising on supply, services, outsourcing and technology contracts.
• Supporting clients on strategic commercial projects and day to day contractual matters.
• Working with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with businesses operating across a range of sectors.

Candidate

Applications are welcomed from Newly Qualified Solicitors who have completed a seat in commercial contracts or commercial law during their training contract. You will have:

• Strong technical drafting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• A commercial and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while delivering a high standard of client service.
• A genuine interest in developing a long term career in commercial law.
