Job Description
Commercial Contracts Solicitor, 2 PQE, Birmingham, £DOE - An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join the highly regarded Commercial team of this award-winning national law firm. Working with an impressive portfolio of FTSE-listed businesses, household names, public sector organisations and growing UK businesses, this is an opportunity to enjoy exceptional quality work within a supportive and collaborative team. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Penny Trotman on or email quoting Job Ref: PT 4481.
THE ROLE:
The Commercial team is recognised as one of the strongest in the UK, advising clients across sectors including automotive, aerospace, retail, food and drink, healthcare, telecoms, life sciences, financial services and real estate.
This is far more than a traditional commercial contracts role. You'll advise on a broad spectrum of complex and high-value agreements including supply and distribution agreements, outsourcing projects, logistics and warehousing arrangements, manufacturing and procurement contracts, consultancy agreements, facilities management contracts and a range of sector-specific commercial arrangements. You'll also have the opportunity to work on IT and technology contracts together with international commercial matters and major public sector projects.
The team has developed an enviable standalone client base, meaning the work extends far beyond corporate support. You'll enjoy genuine client contact from day one, advising businesses on both strategic projects and day-to-day commercial matters, whilst developing long-term relationships with an impressive client portfolio.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Commercial Solicitors with at least two years' PQE and experience of drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts.
You will be commercially minded, technically strong and confident dealing directly with clients. The successful candidate will enjoy negotiating complex agreements, finding practical solutions to commercial issues and working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a solicitor who is ambitious, enjoys business development and is keen to build a long-term career within a nationally recognised commercial practice. An interest in innovation, legal technology and the evolving commercial landscape would be advantageous.
THE FIRM:
This leading national law firm continues to invest heavily in its Commercial practice and has established an outstanding reputation for the quality of its work and its people. Offering a genuine work-life balance, hybrid working, first-class training and transparent career progression, the firm provides an excellent platform for ambitious lawyers looking to take the next step in their career.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, flexible hybrid working, high-quality national and international work, structured career development and genuine opportunities for progression.
