Commercial Contracts Lawyer 2-6pqe

A City and multi office firm.

Set in the expanding and busy procurement and commercial contracts team in London with a strong focus on general commercial contract work, including goods and services contracts, IT supply and support agreements, management agreements and PFI/PPP contract work, though the successful candidate may also be involved in the provision of public procurement advice for contracting authorities.

The successful candidate will display strong technical ability and matter management skills, will enjoy working both as part of a team and independently and be able to demonstrate a flair for nurturing relationships along with enthusiasm, drive, and a commercial approach.

• 2-6 PQE as a solicitor working in the field of commercial contracts in this jurisdiction (public procurement experience is also welcomed)
• CILEx Lawyers must have Higher Rights
• Experience of advising local authorities (whether in private practice or as part of an in-house role) would be a benefit, but is not a requirement
• Experience of advising on public subsidy issues would be an advantage, as would experience of advising on IT contracts
• Strong academic background, ideally gaining a 2:1 or better degree level (or equivalent)
• To be familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications
