Job Description- Lead procurement activities in alignment with PCR2015 regulations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and value for money.
- Provide expert advice on commercial and procurement matters to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and public sector regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and evaluation of tenders and contracts.
- Monitor procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the broader Procurement & Supply Chain department to deliver key projects.
A successful Commercial and Procurement Lead should have:
- A professional qualification, such as MCIPS, or equivalent experience in procurement.
- Strong knowledge of PCR2015 and public sector procurement processes.
- Proven expertise in developing procurement strategies and managing contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A results-oriented approach with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Competitive salary in the range of £44,000 to £53,000 per annum.
- Hybrid working: 3 days from home and 2 days in the Nottingham office.
- Flexible working options, including the possibility of a condensed schedule (e.g., 9-day fortnight).
- Generous annual leave: 24 days plus up to 24 flexi days (maximum 2 per month).
