Commercial Account Handler - Nottingham - Hybrid

An established independent brokerage with offices across the UK is looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join its Nottingham team. This is a replacement hire, and the plan is clear from day one: bring someone in at handler level, develop them properly, and move them into a hybrid Exec role within 12 months, with a full Account Executive position in around two years.

You'll begin by managing SME and mid-market clients across multiple commercial lines, handling renewals, MTAs, and day-to-day servicing. The exposure is broad, and you'll be working alongside experienced brokers who are used to developing people into bigger roles.

This is a business with a strong culture, a clear sense of purpose, and a genuine investment in its people. You won't be boxed into one niche or left doing the same thing for years. The expectation is progression, not stagnation. Acturis experience would be ideal, and someone with around 2-3 years' commercial broking experience would suit this well. What matters most is ambition, commercial awareness, and the desire to step up over time.
