Job Description:

Cold store operative to work in our despatch department.

General Duties:

• Loading lorries and completing despatch documentation.
• Wrapping full pallets of product using automated pallet wrapping machine.
• Supplying pallet bases into and clearing completed pallets of finished product from production lines in a timely fashion to ensure smooth running of production department.
• Stock taking and stock rotation duties.
• Using hand scanners (full training provided).
• Valid counterbalance, electric pallet truck and ideally VNA truck licences required.
• Basic computer skills would be an advantage but full training on our systems will be given.
• Good communication skills necessary to communicate with other departments, planning team and management.

This job is on a temp to perm basis.

Pay:

Pay rates while on agency terms would be:

6-2 & 2-10 shifts = £12.73/hour

If and when a full time contract is awarded the salary will be approx. £30k per year.
