Job DescriptionThis new role provides an exciting opportunity to support and develop the casual coach developer workforce, coaching leads in clubs, and all coaches locally. We are looking for a UEFA B qualified coach developer with experience in delivering CPD, mentoring, and support to coaches.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage positive relationships with 2-star and 3-star England Football Accredited clubs by engaging key club leaders and Coaching Leads.
- Engage clubs with the Thriving Community Clubs Framework and support them in completing relevant assessments for the Coaching pillar.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including FA Regional staff, FA Casual Workforce, and other strategic partners.
- Deliver Coach Developer Training for Club Coaching Leads across the County.
- Support the Quality Assurance and Development of Coaching Leads in clubs.
- Support deployment of Casual Workforce to meet local club needs.
- Assist clubs in developing a club-specific Coach Development plan/programme.
- Coordinate and deliver a Coach Development Programme supporting coaches at all levels, including club, county, and regional delivery.
- Be a licensed Coach Developer to deliver CPD, mentoring, and support for coaches when required.
- Manage, support, and deploy a team of Casual Coach Developers within your respective County FA.
- Ensure Casual Coach Developers meet all role requirements and maintain their Coach Developer License annually.
- Promote diversity within the team of Casual Coach Developers to reflect the game in Cambridgeshire.
- Collaborate with relevant CFA football development leads to achieve objectives.
- Develop and deliver an annual action plan to support high-quality coaching opportunities in grassroots football.
- Build positive relationships with Men's National League System and Women's Football Pyramid clubs within the County FA.
- Support clubs with volunteer workforce growth, diversity, retention, and celebration.
Please note: UEFA B qualification is a prerequisite for this role.
