CNC Programmer

What you'll be doing

• Writing, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for 3- and 5-axis milling machines
• Setting up and fine-tuning CNC machines for production
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, work orders, and product specification
• Monitoring product quality during the machining process
• Troubleshooting programming-related issues and correcting deviations quickly and efficiently
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and process optimization
• Collaborating with engineers to determine optimal work sequences and ensure manufacturability
• Working with tight tolerances, including shape and position requirements

What we need

• You bring a strong technical foundation, ideally with an MBO or HBO-level background (or equivalent through experience)
• You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC miller, preferably in plastics or metalworking environments
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience with external programming for both 3- and 5-axis milling machines
• Experience with OneCNC software is a strong plus, though not a must
• You are confident communicating in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is welcome, but not a requirement
• As this is an on-site position, we are specifically looking for candidates who live in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate here
