Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a varied role within a precision engineering environment?

Our client is looking for a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter to join their manufacturing team, producing high-quality precision components using modern CNC milling machinery.

You'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, working with Fanuc, Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol control systems, producing components to tight tolerances and ensuring consistently high standards of quality and accuracy.

The Role
Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
Programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol control systems
Working across 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres
Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
Selecting appropriate tooling and optimising machining processes
Troubleshooting programming, machining and equipment issues

The Candidate
Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter
Strong CNC milling and programming experience
Experience with one or more of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol control systems
Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining would be advantageous
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
