Hourly Rate: £19.90 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: Monday to Thursday; 9pm - 7am
Contract Length: 6-month contract

Contract Type: LTD or Umbrella (inside IR35)

Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking manufacturer to find a talented CMM Inspectors for a 6-month contract.

You'll be part of a small, collaborative team committed to a right-first-time approach, ensuring every part meets the highest standards of excellence.

CMM Inspector responsibilities:

As a CMM Inspector, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of high-performance transmission components:

• Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and planning route cards
• Carry out manual inspection using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and other standard equipment
• Perform table work to confirm dimensions and tolerances are met
• Program and operate CMMs (experience with Mitutoyo software highly desirable)
• Document inspection results clearly and consistently

CMM Inspector Experience:

• Solid background in quality inspection for precision engineering environments
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
• Skilled in using manual measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
• CMM programming/operation experience (Mitutoyo software experience is a bonus)
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and pride in your work
• Proactive, problem-solving attitude and team-first mentality
• Flexible and open to supporting different stages of the manufacturing process
