Job Description

We are search for a a CMDB SME for a 3-month contract - the role will be fully remote and outside IR35

Lansweeper SaaS discovery expertise

Configure/optimize scanning (networks, credentials, scan targets), improve discovery coverage, reduce gaps/false positives.
Troubleshoot discovery issues and improve data quality (device identification, hardware/software inventory consistency).

CMDB/Jira Assets (Insight) experience

Hands-on with Jira Assets object schemas, object types, attributes, relationships, and import configurations.
Understanding of CMDB data modelling (CI classes, relationships, life cycle/status, ownership).

Data reconciliation & source-of-truth design

Reconcile multiple sources (eg, Lansweeper, AD/Azure AD, Intune/SCCM, EDR, virtualization/cloud inventories).
Define matching rules (unique keys), deduplication logic, conflict resolution, and golden record approach.
