The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant - Cloud Application Architect to join at AWS. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, a Delivery Consultant will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet each customer's specific needs. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies. As trusted advisors to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team delivers focused guidance through global specialty practices covering a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Our expertise and emerging technologies include AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center. You'll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
  2. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
  4. Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  5. Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Basic Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Software / Solution Architect, Lead Architect or similar role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in architecting, designing and developing applications on the AWS platform.
  • Experience designing and modernizing applications using containers, serverless technologies and event driven architectures.
  • Prior consulting experience working directly with customers and partners.
