Trinity's Clinical Research Sponsorship Office is seeking to appoint a full time 1.0 FTE specified-purpose administrative officer to work between the Sponsorship Office based in Trinity College and the Wellcome -HRB Clinical Research Facility based at St James's Hospital. The college oversees a vibrant portfolio of impactful clinical research studies and anticipates this will expand further over the next 3-5 years. The successful appointee will work with the Head of Sponsorship and associated team to oversee and support investigator-led clinical trials and studies conducted at Trinity College.

The appointee will support academic investigators (Clinicians/ researchers) across a range of Clinical trials and research studies in humans. They will be responsible for delivering frontline support to researchers who are navigating the complex Regulatory, Ethics, Data protection, legal, pre and post award processes. This role is critical in triaging enquiries from researchers addressing these directly where possible and signposting to correct functions and people.

This is a full-time role in Ireland. We require that you hold immigration permission that allows full-time employment for the duration of this role. For this position we will not be able to support new employment permit applications.

Post Status:18 months Fixed Term

The duration of this contract is limited to the above fixed-term period as he role is a newly established position created to close out deliverables linked to Trinity Sponsored Investigator led Clinical trials. This role is not offered on a permanent basis as it relates to a defined phase of activity associated with the delivery of programme activities.

Hours of Post:35 hours per week

Salary:Appointment will be made on the Administrative Officer 3 (€47,374 - €59,254 per annum) and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines."
