Clinical Specialist - Pelvic Health (Bank)

Location: The Saxon Clinic, Milton Keynes

Position: Bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, covering busy periods, annual leave, or staff absences.

Salary: Up to £27.00 per hour (depending on experience, training, and qualification)

Role Overview: Join the Physiotherapy department as a Clinical Specialist in Pelvic Health, providing expert assessment and treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic pain, pre/postnatal conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with pelvic health issues using evidence-based methods.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including internal assessment, biofeedback, manual therapy, and exercises.
• Make autonomous clinical decisions within a complex caseload.
• Lead pelvic health physiotherapy services, ensuring quality and best practices.
• Create clinical pathways, patient education materials, and measure outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and service evaluations.

Candidate Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Post-registration experience in women's, men's, and pelvic health physiotherapy.
• Postgraduate training in pelvic health or continence physiotherapy.
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills.
• Experience in service development, teaching, or supervision.
• Membership of POGP or equivalent.
• Independent prescriber or injection therapy training (if applicable).
• Experience in private healthcare or specialist pelvic clinics.
• Involvement in audits, research, or guideline development.
