Main duties of the job The Role
This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week. Hours worked four shifts per week, over seven days on a rota basis, three shifts working 9.5 hours and one shift working 9 hours. We operate a 365 day service and offer pay enhancements for unsociable hours and weekend working.
Please note, the successful candidate will be an essential car user, therefore candidates must have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Job responsibilities About YouAre you an experienced clinician with a passion for delivering specialist palliative care? Are you an effective communicator, with substantial post-registration experience, with expertise in Palliative Care?
Do you bring confidence, resilience and a compassionate approach?
We are seeking a passionate leader with sound knowledge of end of life care with confidence in care planning and individual assessments. If you have computer literacy and experience teaching and developing others we would love to hear from you!
Clinical Nurse Specialist will bring:
- Ability to listen, plan and communicate
- Strong quality and governance awareness
- Working as part of an integrated team of clinicians
- Undertaking specialist palliative care assessments, and specialising in the advisory and Care Coordinator component of this support
- Evidence of continued professional development related to this position
- Advanced physical assessment qualification or willingness to undertake
- Independent prescriber or willingness to undertake
- Sound knowledge of palliative and end of life topics and confidence to practice within the role
- Masters degree in palliative care or similar, or willingness to undertake
- modules towards achieving
- Degree/degree modules in leadership/management
- Teaching qualification
- Practice assessor and supervisor
- Research experience
- Substantial post registration experience and expertise in palliative
