Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology

Locations:

Two full time equivalent posts are available. The base location will be decided upon appointment. The successful candidate will support oncology clinics in Carmarthenshire at Prince Philip Hospital and Glangwili Hospital, covering specialties such as colorectal, urology, lung and upper GI. Occasionally the role may involve supporting other oncology clinics across the Health Board.

Salary:

£39,263 to £47,280 a year per annum (pro rata if part time).

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team as a Band 6 Oncology CNS.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to patients attending oncology clinics in Carmarthenshire.
• Coordinate the care of a designated group of patients with other team members.
• Undertake reviews with patients receiving systemic anti cancer treatments once competencies are achieved.

Qualifications

• Desirable ability to speak Welsh; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
