JOB SYNOPSIS We are seeking to appoint a dynamic nurse with excellent organisational, coordination, communication and interpersonal skills to promote and facilitate the conduct of a research project in the Emergency Department (ED) at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) and St James's Hospital (SJH). The overall project focuses on the implementation of a model of integrated care for older adults who are discharged from the ED. The post holder will act as the person responsible for data collection and management for the randomised controlled trial across two sites, University Hospital Limerick and St James's Hospital. This post-holder will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) who is Co-Director of the Ageing Research Centre and the programme co-applicants/collaborators. The post holder will manage the day-to-day data collection of ED PLUS which include (but are not limited too), patient consenting, baseline, post-intervention and follow up data collection, tracking of deliverables relating to the recruitment and retention of patients, organisation of project meetings, as well as certain key dissemination activities.

Salary Scale: HSE Salary scales €64,579 - €78,404 (maximum starting salary €64,579) p.a. pro rata
