Job DescriptionWe are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 Nursing Office for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland.
Part-time position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working on a rotating day and night shift pattern.
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Nursing Office and nursing services
Coordinate daily staffing, workforce planning and allocation of nursing resources
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care requirements
Supervise, support and manage nursing staff, including performance and professional development
Oversee the implementation and evaluation of nursing policies, procedures and standards
Monitor the quality, safety and effectiveness of nursing care across the service
Coordinate staff redeployment and respond to changing clinical and staffing requirements
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and senior management to support service delivery
Monitor clinical incidents, risk management, audits and quality improvement initiatives
Promote compliance with NMBI requirements, HIQA standards and relevant healthcare legislation
Support the development and implementation of service improvement and change initiatives
Provide professional advice and guidance to nursing staff and contribute to the overall strategic development of nursing services
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
Nursing degree or higher qualification
Minimum 5 years of post-registration nursing experience
Proven clinical, professional and managerial experience at CNM2 level or above
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in implementing service improvement initiatives
Experience working effectively within a multi-professional environment
Extensive knowledge and experience of nursing management principles and practices
Strong IT literacy and computer skills
