Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Liverpool- Hybrid

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded multi-office law firm in the North West are seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their growing team in Liverpool.

The Role;

This is a key position within a busy and successful Clinical Negligence team. You will manage a complex and high-value claimant caseload, taking full ownership of matters from instruction through to resolution.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining exceptional client care standards while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities;

Managing a varied caseload of complex clinical negligence claims, including catastrophic injury and high-value matters

Taking responsibility for cases from inception to conclusion

Drafting detailed legal documentation and providing clear, expert advice

Attending mediations, settlement meetings, court hearings, and conferences with Counsel

Building strong working relationships with clients, experts, and key stakeholders

Managing key deadlines, risks, and case progression effectively

Supporting team objectives, including performance and process improvements

Contributing to business development and profile-raising activities

Mentoring and supporting junior team members where appropriate

About You;

Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in Clinical Negligence

Strong experience handling high-value and complex claimant matters independently

Solid litigation experience, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations

Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues is advantageous

Highly organised with the ability to manage a demanding caseload

Empathetic and professional when dealing with sensitive matters
