Job Description
Clinical Negligence Solicitor - Leeds - Up to £70,000 - REF941232DL

A leading national personal injury and clinical negligence practice is seeking a Clinical Negligence Associate to join its well established Leeds team. The team is highly regarded for handling complex, high value clinical negligence claims, combining strong technical expertise with excellent client care. You'll work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a varied caseload, gaining exposure to both litigated and pre litigation matters within a collaborative national practice.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a caseload of complex and high value clinical negligence claims
  • Supporting progression of files from initial instruction to settlement or trial
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal documents
  • Reviewing medical records and liaising with medical experts
  • Developing case strategy based on evidence and liability assessment
  • Attending hearings, CMCs and settlement meetings
  • Providing clear, client focused legal advice and updates
  • Maintaining strong client relationships throughout
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with clinical negligence experience
  • Defendant or claimant background considered
  • Strong drafting, analytical and case management skills
  • Confident reviewing medical evidence and working with experts
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client care ability
  • Able to manage multiple complex cases effectively
  • Commercially aware and motivated to progress
