Senior / Principal Associate - Defendant Clinical Negligence

I'm currently working on an opportunity with a highly regarded healthcare litigation team in London that is continuing to grow its defendant clinical negligence offering.

This team acts on behalf of NHS bodies and primary care providers, handling a broad mix of complex and high-value claims. It's a well-established practice with a strong reputation in the market and long-standing panel relationships, offering lawyers the chance to work on some of the most challenging and sensitive cases in this space.

• Manage a caseload of complex, high-value clinical negligence claims
• Work closely with experienced partners on more technical and severe injury matters
• Gain direct client exposure, including interaction with healthcare organisations
• Play a role in developing client relationships and contributing to growth

You'll also have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across wider healthcare disciplines, including:

• Inquests and investigations
• Regulatory and disciplinary matters
• Public law and judicial review
• Mental health and risk advisory work

• Large, well-resourced national clinical negligence group
• Strong presence across multiple offices
• Recognised in the legal directories for its defendant healthcare work
• Known for combining technical quality with a collaborative team culture

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with strong defendant clinical negligence experience
• Ideally experience gained within a panel firm environment, though this isn't essential
• Confident handling complex, high-value matters, including severe injury claims
