Our home provides high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Respite, and Palliative Care for up to 72 residents.

What We Offer

  • £55,000 per annum
  • £3,000 Welcome Bonus
  • Contracted to 40 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm supernumerary, with occasional weekend, bank holiday, and on-call cover as required
  • Paid breaks and NMC fees
  • Paid DBS, uniform provided, and free onsite parking

This is a hands-on, people-focused leadership role where you will combine clinical expertise with active support on the floor. You will lead, inspire, and manage the nursing and care teams, oversee care delivery, and help shape the future of the service.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the care home sector and, ideally, experience in a similar setting. Confidence in writing and reviewing care plans and delivering tailored, person-centred clinical care is essential. A thorough knowledge of CQC requirements is highly desirable.

As a visible leader, you will work alongside the team to maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring that each resident's individual needs are met.

What We're Looking For

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC PIN
  • Experience working in a care home environment and a strong understanding of care home operations
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead preferred
  • Strong ability to write and review care plans, with a focus on person-centred clinical care
  • A collaborative, visible leader who thrives in a team environment and is eager to motivate and inspire others

The Ashton Care Home is part of Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 100 care homes across the United Kingdom. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a warm, supportive environment. Our core values - Trust, Respect, Passion, Kindness, and Inclusivity - guide everything we do.

If you are passionate about making a difference and ready to take on a leadership role in a forward-thinking, values-driven organisation, we would love to hear from you.
