Job Description

The team of the Adolescent and Young Adult Health Unit (CASAA), serving general healthcare, meets the specific needs of adolescence requiring medical care. CASAA brings together several specialties in a comprehensive approach that integrates sexual and mental health. Centered on the needs of each young person, this vision transcends the silos of expertise and streamlines the care pathway. The CASAA team receives youth aged 12 to 20 for an initial medical appointment, then supports them according to their needs until age 25, particularly to facilitate their transition to adult care. This unit is dedicated to inclusivity and diversity and welcomes all young people regardless of their background, language, culture, social status, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation. As a Head or Chief Clinical Physician with or without a specialization title at the adolescent and young adult health unit (CASAA) - 50%, you will ensure the care of young patients in the multidisciplinary context of the CASAA unit and monitor certain cases. As a chief physician or chief clinical physician, you are autonomous with taking charge of managing care alongside other team members while benefiting from supervision by the unit framework. You present your cases at the weekly case review and are the medical-psychological referent within a multidisciplinary team, with a clinical role in the field collaborating closely with the external network, in a rich and engaging activity. You possess an FMH in Child and Adolescent Medicine, or Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, or have a qualification deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO). You hold the right to practice in the canton of Geneva or are able to obtain it prior to your entry into the position. You have at least 3 years of experience in the field, particularly working with young people (12 to 20 years). You are an autonomous, flexible, and committed individual with skills in transcultural and/or psychotrauma approaches. You possess excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with non-French speakers; a C1 level in the spoken and written French test is required.Working hours are during the day based on: Number of positions: 1 Activity rate: 50% Job grade: according to: Fixed-term contract of 5 months Application deadline: For inquiries: Ms. C.
