The Vacancy

Are you organised, compassionate and ready to make a meaningful difference? As a Clinical Administrator - Bank, you'll provide essential administrative support to our clinical services across the hospice, ensuring all data and administrative tasks are completed in a confidential, efficient, timely, and secure manner. This role is central to maintaining high standards of patient care and service delivery through accurate record-keeping, responsive communication, and proactive support of clinical and governance processes.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing responsive and organised administrative support across clinical teams
  • Managing shared inboxes and handling queries professionally
  • Taking calls from patients, families and healthcare professionals with empathy and clarity
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records using SystmOne
  • Supporting governance processes, including preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes
  • Working collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless coordination
  • Providing occasional reception cover as required
What we're looking for
  • Strong IT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft 365
  • Experience using SystmOne or similar record systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage a varied workload
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to confidentiality, data protection and GDPR
  • A flexible, positive and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
