An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive administrator for our Allergy Clinic.
We are looking for an organised, proactive professional with strong communication, leadership and IT skills, and experience in a busy administrative environment, for the role of Clinic Coordinator.
You will have a strong commitment to patient centred care, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a complex multi disciplinary environment. You will work closely with other administrative teams, clinicians and managers to ensure safe, efficient delivery of the Allergy Service to our patients.

Main duties of the job- Responsible for coordinating the Allergy service working closely with the clinical, administrative and management teams to prioritise high risk patients.
- Manage the new and follow up booking processes, and ensure that patients are booked in priority order.
- Produce performance reports and weekly Patient Tracking Lists using complex data, and present these to wide audiences including the Trust's Head of Elective Access, Operational Management and Clinicians.
- Line manage the allergy administrative booking and tracking teams.
- Provide cross cover as required for pathway tracking, outpatient procedure and day case booking duties at times of absence and high demand.

Person Specification Qualifications- Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service, business administration, ITQ or equivalent professional experience.
- Secretary qualification or equivalent.
- Typing qualification or equivalent experience.
- Specific technical/professional qualification.
- Experience of managing staff or a busy clerical/office environment, reception service or project.
- Secretarial and/or complex administrative experience.
- Prioritising, planning and organising own and others' tasks.
- Experience of dealing with difficult situations and confrontations.
- Data entry experience and documentation.
- Previous experience working in NHS.
- Previous experience working with medical records.
- Recruitment and selection of staff.
- Performance management of staff.
- Confidentiality and data protection processes and procedures.
- Good working knowledge of office procedures and all Microsoft Office packages.
- Awareness of NHS targets and Trust priorities.
- Awareness of anti discriminatory issues.
- Knowledge of the Trust, including awareness of its priorities.
- Knowledge of Trust information systems.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
