Client Relationship Manager - Leicester | £45,000-£50,000 + commission + Company Car

I'm currently partnering with a growing Design & Build/Commercial Interiors business that is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join its commercial team.

This is a relationship-led position focused on developing long-term client partnerships, identifying new opportunities and driving sustainable revenue growth. The role would suit someone who enjoys a consultative approach to business development and is confident engaging with senior stakeholders across the Design & Build, commercial interiors or construction sector.

Key responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Identify and develop new Design & Build, refurbishment and fit-out opportunities
* Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
* Build relationships with key decision-makers, architects, consultants, project managers and industry partners
* Develop a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events and market intelligence
* Work closely with internal design, estimating and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions
* Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term client growth
* Maintain accurate pipeline information and provide regular forecasts to senior leadership

About you:

* Proven experience in Design & Build, commercial fit-out, commercial interiors, workplace consultancy or construction business development
* Strong relationship-building and networking skills
* Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and communication abilities
* Comfortable managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
* Proactive, self-motivated and driven by achieving commercial results
* An existing network across the sector would be highly advantageous
