Client Manager - Histopathology

Location:

Hybrid - Antwerp, Belgium (initially 3-4 days onsite, transitioning to 1-2 days/week)

Salary:

€60,000-€80,000

Apsida Life Science is currently partnering with a global life sciences organisation specialising in precision medicine and advanced laboratory services. Operating across multiple continents, this company plays a vital role in supporting pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors from early discovery through to late-stage clinical trials.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about client engagement, with a background in histopathology or assay development. You'll work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment that sits at the intersection of science, operations, and business development with clear scope for progression into strategic account management roles.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned sponsors, managing client interactions, study scoping, and budget development
  • Assess and support complex immunohistochemistry requirements, offering consultative solutions aligned with internal capabilities
  • Coordinate cross-functional proposal and bid processes with scientific, operational, and financial teams
  • Ensure accurate pricing, documentation, and alignment with regulatory and operational standards
  • Support business development initiatives and maintain a strong client satisfaction focus
  • Deliver scientific presentations and participate in client visits as needed


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or related field (postgraduate degree preferred)
  • 3- 5 years' experience in client services within CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Strong understanding of histopathology, assay development, and related laboratory workflows
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project coordination skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and presenting scientific content to clients
  • A collaborative mindset, with a continuous improvement approach
