Job Description

Location: Warwick (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)

Salary: Up to £68,000

The Company

A leading insights agency is hiring a Client Director to lead large-scale brand strategy projects. This is an opportunity to shape high-level business decisions by delivering data-driven insights. The team operates in a highly collaborative environment, working closely across multiple business functions to provide actionable recommendations on brand growth and positioning.

The Role

As a Client Director, you will oversee major accounts, lead client engagements, and guide teams in delivering high-impact research. You will be responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on project execution, ensuring insights are translated into meaningful commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end research projects, from client briefing to final recommendations.
  • Manage and develop a team of Client Managers and analysts, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Consult on brand strategy, identifying key insights that shape business decisions.
  • Provide leadership in crafting research methodologies, including survey design and data analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align insights with commercial goals.
  • Present insights and recommendations in a compelling, data-driven narrative.
  • Ensure best practices in brand health tracking, segmentation analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling within existing accounts.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate is a brand insights professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in brand insights, research, or consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of brand tracking, brand health, and brand equity analysis.
  • Ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data using Excel, SPSS, or similar tools.
  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with a variety of data sources, including survey data, media spend, and social insights.
  • Exposure to questionnaire design and research methodology.
  • Background in marketing, brand strategy, or consumer research.
