Client Development Programme Manager

The Client Development Programme Manager sits within the Client Development team and has the experience, skill, and passion to help to drive a culture of excellent client experience and relationship management across the Firm.
Forming an integral part of the Client Development Team, you will be responsible for supporting on actioning and implementing the firm's dedicated relationship programmes that nurture and grow our relationships with our network of clients and intermediaries across the world.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business as well as the wider client development team to deliver the strategic objectives of the firm, and support each of the divisional focus groups.
You will help create a culture and reputation of excellence that sets a 'gold standard' for collaboration communication, referrals, data management and ultimately exemplar Client Development to help elevate the best practice for the wider CD team and practice groups.
You will support the Client Development function - leading on the specifics of our intermediary and alumni programmes, as well as overseeing and supporting planned client listening activity and the management of key client relationships on the Elevate Programme.
Roles and Responsibilities
•Supporting the wider Client Development team to ensure the relationship programmes are progressing the divisions strategic aims.
•Managing the firm's key intermediary relationships - overseeing the firmwide Intermediary Programme; ensuring it continues to support strategic goals; proactively identifying opportunities to further develop relationships; and monitoring and reporting on referral activity for reciprocity.
•Proactively managing the relationships with the firm's key referrers across multiple relationship touchpoints; chairing regular internal team meetings; leading on relationship development activity and actions to broaden relationship touchpoints to new parts of the business; and producing quarterly relationship updates on recent relationship and referral activity.
•Reporting on key outputs across the relationship programmes (Elevate, Client Listening, Intermediaries and Targeting)
•Support with utilising client listening feedback as a tool to develop strategic relationships - working with the wider business services functions to identify opportunities for client listening and project managing the pipeline of conversations scheduled.
•Supporting the smooth running of the firm's Key Client Programme (Elevate) - working with the Client Development Managers to manage the key relationships, share best practice between relationship teams and ensure the programme continues to support the firms strategic objectives.
•Managing and developing the firm's Alumni programme - acting as the point person for driving key initiatives and events.
•Co-ordinating and supporting where necessary on targeting approach and activity.
•Utilising the firms CRM system (InterAction) and promoting best practice of data recoding (relationship activity and referrals).
•Helping create frameworks to ensure the proper protocols are adhered to for showing-casing key client relationships internally.
•Building their own relationships with key contacts at intermediary organisations.
Person Specification
•Professional services experience, ideally within a law firm
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
•The ability to develop effective working relations at all levels
•Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple projects and programmes at once
•Experience in developing and implementing successful relationship plans
•Understanding of client data and financials, and ability to define and present reports to support decision
making
•Detailed understanding of CRM systems and best practice in this area
•Confident in both verbal and written communication with a diverse range of stakeholders
•Previous use of running and interpreting PowerBI Reports (preferred not essential)
•Experience of effectively utilising AI in relationship management
•Have a flexible approach and willing to go the extra mile
