Client Account Manager

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking accountancy practice in Berkshire, looking for an experienced Client Account Manager to join the team on a fixed-term contract, starting around May 2026.

The role is expected to run for six months, with the possibility of extending to a year.

• Circa £50,000
• Reviewing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, helping them with day-to-day queries
• Providing guidance and support to junior team members
• Ensuring compliance and accuracy across all client deliverables
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver a consistent and proactive service

• Fixed-term contract, six months with potential to extend to twelve months
• Start date around May 2026
• Hybrid working, typically two days from home each week
• Flexible working hours

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Strong background in accountancy practice
• Comfortable reviewing year-end accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and corporation tax
• Excellent communication skills and client-facing confidence
• Able to hit the ground running in a busy, supportive team environment
