PositionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer / Typist within Business Administration, Mental Health Services, North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine.
Hours and Shift PatternMonday / Tuesday / Wednesday & Thursday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Thursday 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.
This post is offered on a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment basis for a period of 9 months.
What you will doYou will provide a comprehensive, confidential clerical and administrative support service to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unscheduled Care Team.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the jobYou will be educated to 'O' Grade / Standard Grade Credit or National 5 in English and Maths, possess an SVQ Level II qualification in Administration or equivalent experience and have a recognised IT qualification in Microsoft Office packages. You will also have advanced keyboard skills, experience of electronic filing systems management and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Experience of working within an NHS environment and understanding of NHS inter disciplinary networks are desirable. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, have the ability to adhere to strict maintenance of confidentiality with a knowledge/understanding and compliance of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the flexibility to adapt to changes and last minute demands.
UK Driving LicenceFull UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership is desirable as you may be required to travel across various sites/bases within Ayrshire & Arran.

Sponsorship is not guaranteed and is assessed on a case by case basis following interview and at the commencement of pre employment checks.
