About this jobAs a Cleaning Team Manager at our Head Office Distribution Centre in Liverpool, you will play a pivotal role in leading, coaching, and motivating our DC cleaning team to uphold exceptional Health and Safety practices and maintain high cleaning standards.
Your responsibilities include delivering cleaning schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safe working practices.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness and operational excellence of the Distribution Centre.
Package Salary & Hours £30,422. hours per week working any 5 days out

Job Overview Delivering Cleaning Schedule : Ensure H&S compliant cleaning schedules are meticulously crafted and implemented, meeting the specific needs of the site or designated area.
Rota and Resource Management : Efficiently manage cleaning team rosters and resources, ensuring optimal coverage to maintain cleanliness standards at all times.
Induction Training : Conduct thorough and engaging H&S induction training sessions for new cleaning team members, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Performance Management : Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the cleaning team against predefined KPIs, providing feedback, guidance, and support to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
Stock and Equipment Management : Take responsibility for managing stock levels of cleaning supplies and monitoring the condition and compliance of cleaning equipment to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.
Cost Negotiation : Engage in effective communication and negotiation with management to agree on budget allocations for the cleaning team, balancing operational needs with financial constraints.
Resource Allocation Review : Regularly review the resource requirements for cleaning operations, including personnel, skills, and equipment, and allocate resources strategically to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Criteria To Apply Previous experience in an operational cleaning function.
Team Management experience supervising or managing teams.
