Salary/Rate: £12.21 per hour (starting at £14 per hour plus fuel paid)

Location: Wigan and travelling around local areas

Hours: Part-time - flexible, may lead to more hours and a permanent role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across site type - e.g., office buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, etc The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and be confident supervising others.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the cleaning staff daily
• Inspect work areas to ensure cleaning standards are met
• Train and support team members on cleaning procedures and health & safety practices
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs
• Prepare staff rotas and ensure adequate cover for shifts
• Communicate effectively with clients and management

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

Details

• Can lead to permanent role
• Starting off as temp, part-time, can pick up more hours as needed
• You need to be able to drive, as you will need to visit multiple sites each day
