Job Title: Cleaning
Location: Crawley
Contract: Permanent - Part Time 10 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 2-hour shift
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail-focused Cleaner to join our team based at the Thermo-Fisher Scientific site in Crawley.

You will be responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of cleaning across designated areas of the site. The role will involve a variety of cleaning, laundry and waste duties, working to agreed schedules and following all site, company, health and safety and hygiene procedures.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, reliability and a positive approach to customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning, laundry and waste duties to a high standard
• Maintain clean, safe and hygienic areas across the site
• Use cleaning products, equipment and PPE safely, following COSHH requirements
• Follow all site procedures, including health and safety, security and hygiene standards
• Report equipment faults, building defects and safety hazards promptly
• Work independently and as part of the wider team to deliver excellent service

What We're Looking For

• Reliable, trustworthy and proactive with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on customer service
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable
• Knowledge of COSHH, PPE and safe cleaning practices would be beneficial
• Experience using cleaning machinery or carrying out specialist/GMP cleaning is an advantage, but not essential
