Cleaning Operative

You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment across our site by:

• Carrying out daily cleaning of offices, welfare facilities, toilets, kitchens and the mobility shop
• Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, floors, furniture and fixtures
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Cleaning and maintaining toilet, changing room and kitchen facilities
• Replenishing consumables and toiletries as required
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste in line with company procedures
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Completing daily, weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks
• Reporting hazards, defects or maintenance issues to management
• Following all company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures

This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working independently.

• Previous cleaning experience or a willingness to learn
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• An awareness of workplace health and safety requirements
