Mitie is offering a full-time position as a Cleaning Operative at Clarks Village, Somerset. The contract is for 40 hours per week (3 days on 2 days off).

About the role

Within the role you will join an established, professional team, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of a large outdoor shopping centre in Street, Somerset. You will:

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning areas, when work needs to be carried out, and all cleaning equipment and chemicals ensuring you follow all Health and Safety requirements.
• Complete all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Be able to work within a team as well as working under your own initiative.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate for the position is punctual, has high standards of personal hygiene and upkeep, can communicate and read basic English, has a Right to Work in the UK. Experience in cleaning is desirable but not mandatory. A flexible approach to the role is required. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
