# Cleaning Operative Job IntroductionLandmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.Landmarc offers excellent career progression and great benefits, no previous experience needed, just a great can do attitude! Role Details Salary: £25,875.72 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance Location: Warcop Camp, Appleby in Westmorland, Cumbria, CA16 6PA Contract: Permanent / Full time / On-site Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 16:00, (08:00 - 15:30 Fridays) About the Organisation Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. What You'll Do Ensuring cleanliness across site facilities Cleaning accommodation blocks, offices, and communal areas Carrying out general cleaning duties (mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.) Supporting basic building maintenance and upkeep Assisting with grounds maintenance tasks Managing and replenishing cleaning supplies and stock Completing basic records and documentation (paper and digital) Providing flexible support across the site as needed Carry out any other additional requirements as needed Secondary Duties Looking after the camps general maintenance and cleanliness.
