Location: Medical Unit, Waitrose & Partners, Merthyr Road, Llanfoist, Abergavenny, NP7 9LL

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE)

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Hours: 8 hours per week

Shift: 18:00-20:00

Working Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday

Contract Type: Temporary

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Waitrose & Partners in Llanfoist, Abergavenny.

This role involves maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2 hours per shift across four days each week.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the medical unit
  
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  
• Cleaning treatment rooms, staff areas and communal areas
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
  
• Following all health and safety and infection control procedures
  
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
  

Candidate Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  
• Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous
  
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Available for an immediate start
  
• Able to work Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday between 18:00 and 20:00
